Kaitlyn Hamilton returns for her third year as an assistant at Franklin & Marshall for the 2012 season. Hamilton has helped lead the Diplomats to a 27-11 mark over the last two seasons, including the Centennial Conference (CC) regular season crown and a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2011.

Prior to her time at F&M, Hamilton gained extensive field hockey and athletic experience at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. While at William Smith, Hamilton was involved throughout the Athletic Department. She worked in the Athletic Communications Office writing up stories for athletic events, assisting in program distribution, and furnishing all game statistics available online.

Hamilton's collegiate field hockey career took off while playing for the Herons. She gained honors as a two-time winner of William Smith's Charles P. Boswell II '50 Field Hockey Award, assisted in capturing two Liberty League Championships, and scored two goals in Division III NCAA Championships in 2006 and 2007. In addition, Hamilton was named Second Team All-American as a sophomore and third team as a senior. From 2007 through 2009, Hamilton was named to the NFHCA All-Region First Team and Liberty League First Team. She was also coined Liberty League Rookie of the Year.

Hamilton completed her master's degree in sports management from Millersville University in May 2012.
