Ten Named To ZAG/NFHCA Academic Squad

LANCASTER, Pa. - Ten members of the Franklin & Marshall field hockey team have been named to the 2007 ZAG/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Academic Squad. Student-athletes selected for the team had to achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year.

As a team, the Diplomats earned the National Academic Team Award for posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher and were one of 83 Division III schools honored.

Seniors Brittany Carson, Anne Christensen and Lindsay Solar were recognized, along with juniors Mollie Ruben and Jennifer Burdo. Sophomores Stolle Singleton and Naomi Stone joined freshmen Katie Datin, Nora Kinney and Eileen O'Reilly in earning the honor.
