Diplomats and Gallagher Lead Through Round One

HAMPSTEAD, Md.-- Franklin & Marshall's women’s golfers are in sole possession of first place after the first round of the 2010 Centennial Conference Golf Championships.  The Diplomats are two strokes ahead of defending champions McDaniel through the first 18 of 36 holes.  Grace Gallagher leads the pack with an 84 followed by teammate Meghan Maloney in second with a 14 over 86.

Julia Fiala represents the third lowest round for F&M at 93 strokes. Fiala is tied with Gettysburg’s Caroline Nathan in the ninth spot. Andrea Huffman and Saira Dar are two sports apart at 14th and 16th place. Huffman carded a 103 and Dar finished with 109.
 
The field will play 18 more holes Sunday afternoon to determine the conference champion.
