Maloney Leads Diplomats at Kutztown Invitational
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Meghan Maloney finished the Kutztown Invitational with a score of 82 to lead Franklin & Marshall to a fifth place finish at the Berkleigh Country Club Friday. The Diplomats finished with 360 points and Kutztown claimed top honors, carding a 330.
Gannon came in second with a score of 333, followed by West Chester in third with a score of 346, and Mercyhurst in fourth scoring a 347. East Stroudsburg finished sixth with 401, and Millersville placed sixth after not finishing the match.
Maloney's score of 82 earned her a tie for fifth with East Stroudsburg's Karen Cash. Evann Parker from Mercyhurst claimed first in the match carding a 77, just three strokes over par.
Grace Gallagher finished with an 84 to tie for eighth place, and Julia Fiala landed 10th with a score of 86.
The Diplomats travel to the Water Gap Country Club on Saturday for the two-day East Stroudsburg Invitational.
