F&M Eighth at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Franklin & Marshall finished eighth at the Navy Lady Midshipman Invitational on Saturday. The Diplomats totaled a 451 at the 5,803-yard, par-73 Naval Academy Golf Course in Annapolis.

Kutztown won the team title with a 343, followed by West Chester (352) and Gettysburg (353). McDaniel's Morgan Koopman captured the individual crown, besting the remainder of the field by three strokes with a 5-over 78.

Lauren Caffee shot the low F&M round of the day with a 109 to tie for 31st. Jennifer Dickey carded a 111 to take 34th, followed by Katie McKiernan in 35th with a round of 114. Katie Cecere and Samantha Porcelli each recorded scores of 117 to round out the Diplomats scoring in 36th place.

F&M is back in action on Saturday, April 28 for day one of the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships at Hanover Country Club.
