HARRISBURG, Pa. – Kathleen Smith tied for ninth out of 41 women's golfers on Saturday to pace Franklin & Marshall at the Dickinson Spring Invitational held at the Blue Ridge Country Club. The Diplomats finished sixth out of seven teams with a 425 total at the par 73, 5,860-yard course.
Smith led F&M with a 91, while Bridget Falcone was next, tying for 24th after carding a 99 on the day. Lauren Caffee (109) and Harriet Waldron (126) rounded out the Diplomats' competitors at the event.
Samantha Sessa paced the first-place Gettysburg Bullets, who combined for a 349, by shooting a 79, the low score on the day and four strokes better than the next golfer. McDaniel (357) and Stevenson (358) rounded out the top three schools.
