NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. - Grace Gallagher shot an 89 for the second day in a row to finish the 36-hole Centennial Conference Championships in 178 strokes. Her effort was good enough for fifth place, 12 shots off of Merrill Fortier's championship pace of 166 (86-80) at the par 72 Olde Homestead Golf Course. Fortier led Gettysburg to the team title, while Gallagher led F&M to a third place finish, marking the third consecutive year F&M has finished in that spot.

The Bullets held the top two spots on the leaderboard with Leah Tuscano (86-86) finishing six shots behind her teammate. McDaniel golfers occupied third and fourth places with Jennie Weiner (81-95-176) edging her fellow Terror, Nicole Cristy (90-87-177) by a single stroke.

Gallagher's fifth place finish was her sixth top five finish through the eight events she has played this season. She was the only Diplomat to place in the top ten. The Centennial Championships featured 26 golfers from six teams.

F&M's Meaghan Eyler shot a 100 on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole total of 197 for 13th place.
