PEACH BOTTOM, PA - Elizabeth Boyer (So., Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) shot 90 to place one stroke off the overall lead through day one of the 2006 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championships hosted by Franklin & Marshall College at Pilgrim's Oak Golf Course.
Boyer, who is one stroke off the pace of leader Kristin Amore of Muhlenberg College (89) has led the Diplomats to a tie for third place with Dickinson College at the championships as Franklin & Marshall and the Red Devils have team scores of 433.
For F&M, Meaghan Eyler (So., Thurmont, MD/Catoctin) is 14th with a 108, Christine DiMattia (Fr., Garden City, NY/Garden City) is 17th with a 115, Carolyn Devens (Fr., Sewickly, PA) is 19th with a 120 and Megan Clark (Sr., Bedminster, NJ) is 22nd with a 124 through the first 18 holes of the 36 hole championship.
McDaniel College (389) leads the tournament, while Muhlenberg (414), F&M (433) and Dickinson (4330) round out the competing schools.
