Kunkle Named to All-CC Team as F&M Places Fourth at Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship

YORK, PA -- Jessica Kunkle (Sr., Centre Hall, PA/State College) shot 92-94-186 to finish fourth and earn All-Centennial Conference (CC) honors as the Diplomats placed fourth at the 2005 Centennial Conference Championship at the par-71 Heritage Hills Golf Resort.

The award marks the fourth time Kunkle has received All-CC honors as she was selected to the 2004 All-CC team after placing third at the CC championships with a two-day score of 177 at Eagles Landing Golf Course in Ocean City, Maryland.

In 2003, she carded a 178 to place second at the CC championships and lead F&M to a runner-up finish in the team standings. As a freshman at the 2002 championships, she shot an 86 to tie for second place and lead F&M to the first of its back-to-back team runner-up finishes at the championships.

At the 2005 championships, she placed two strokes behind third place Garnett Pumphrey who shot 184. Overall, McDaniel's Kelly Cramp shot 162 to earn medalist honors, while Gettysburg's Merrill Fortier carded a 177 to placed second.

Rounding out F&M's finishers were Simi Sandhu (So., Lebanon, PA/Cedar Crest) who shot 116-119-235, Meaghan Eyler (Fr., Catoctin, MD) who finished at 109-115-224 and Steph Dibelka (Sr., Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) who shot 130-132-262 as the team finished with a final score of 907.
