LANCASTER, PA -- Jessica Kunkle (Jr., Centre Hall, PA/State College) has been named to the 2004 All-Centennial Conference (CC) women's golf team. It is the third time she has received these honors.
Kunkle was selected to the All-CC team after placing third at the CC championships. She carded rounds of 88 and 89 to finish first among the Diplomats with a two-day score of 177.
In 2003, she carded a 178 (88-90) to place second at the CC championships and lead F&M to a runner-up finish in the team standings. As a freshman at the 2002 championships, she shot an 86 to tie for second place and lead F&M to the first of its back-to-back team runner-up finishes at the championships.
Kunkle led the team and finished third in the conference with an average of 90.67. She carded a season-low 82 and finished second at the Dickinson Invitational on April 1. She also collected three top-five tournament finishes during the spring season, including medallist honors at the Franklin & Marshall College Invitational on April 20.
