Sanza Honored by WomensLacrosse.com

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall junior goalkeeper, Lidia Sanza, was named to the WomensLacrosse.com Player of the Week Honor Roll on Wednesday.

Sanza turned away 33 shots in a 3-1 week for the #5 Diplomats (8-1), none were bigger than the pair down the stretch against Union that allowed F&M to hang on in the 10-9 win against #9 Union at the start of the Week. Sanza stopped ten shots in that game, as well as the Diplomats’ one-goal loss to #1 Salisbury.

Sanza was a WomensLacrosse.com All-American, as well as Rookie and Goalkeeper of the Year in 2007. She backstopped the Diplomats’ run to the NCAA Division III National Championship and a perfect 21-0 record that season.
