LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall senior attack, Blake Hargest, has been named the Centennial Conference's Player of the Week for the second time this season.
This past week, Hargest scored nine goals and handed out two assists in a 2-0 stretch for the second-ranked Diplomats. Hargest had six goals and an assist in the 17-6 victory against Ursinus, bringing her within two points (298) of becoming the fifth player in Conference history, and fourth player in Diplomats' history to record 300 career points.
Hargest is six assists away from becoming only the second Diplomat to score 150 goals and register 150 assists in her career. If she accomplishes the feat, she will join Shannon Summers as the only other member of the exclusive club.
She was previously named the Centennial Player of the Week on March 22nd, after factoring in 17 of F&M's 27 goals in the week prior.
