Franklin & Marshall junior attacker Paige Moriarty was named the IWLCA/Lacrosse Sports Network Division III Offensive Player of the Week. The honor is the first for Moriarty and the first for a member of the F&M lacrosse team.
Moriarty (Glen Ridge, N.J.) scored six goals and handed out three assists to lead No. 8 Franklin & Marshall to a 12-2 upset over No. 2 Cortland last Saturday. Moriarty scored on six of her seven shots she took. In the process, she became the fastest player in school history to register 200 or more points in a career.
F&M has 10 days off and will return to action on Saturday, Mar. 25 when the Diplomats travel to Swarthmore before hosting Salisbury on Sunday.
