Murphy Named to All-Centennial Team
LANCASTER, Pa. – After an impressive rookie season, freshman center fielder Danielle Murphy was named to the Second Team All-Centennial Conference (CC) softball team, as announced by the conference Thursday. Murphy was the lone Diplomat to receive the post-season award.
Murphy led the team and ranked fourth in the conference with a .396 batting average. She also topped F&M in runs (26), hits (36), triples (3), and home runs (3).
During the 2010 season Murphy was one of only four players to start every single game, and was one of four freshmen to earn all-conference honors.
