CC Tournament History: Franklin & Marshall's entrance in the Centennial Conference (CC) is the program's first in 24 years of CC softball. However, the Diplomats have won just one Conference Title in program history, winning the MAC in 1980.

Past Champions: McDaniel and Muhlenberg have both won four CC Crowns to lead the pack, followed by Haverford with three. Ursinus is next with a pair of Conference Championships, while Dickinson, Gettysburg, and Washington College have all won one. Last season, Haverford earned its third championship by beating Washington 5-3 in the finals.

A Look at the Field: McDaniel will host this weekend's festivities as the tournament's No. 1 seed after compiling a CC record of 14-1-1 in the regular season. Washington earned the second seed by finishing the regular season at 13-3 in the Centennial, while No. 3 Gettysburg comes in with a CC record of 11-4-1.

The Diplomats put together an 8-8 regular-season record in the Centennial, clinching their tournament berth on Sunday after Gettysburg beat Muhlenberg in game one of a doubleheader to lock down the fourth and final playoff spot for F&M.

Last Week: Rain spoiled Tuesday's doubleheader with King's, so the Diplomats faced off with Washington in the only games of the week on Saturday. The Diplomats dropped both contests by scores of 6-2 and 10-1.
