Boone brings seven years of collegiate coaching experience to the Diplomats softball team.  Her tenure began in 2010 after spending five seasons as the top assistant at Utica College in New York and one season as an assistant coach at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2004.  Boone was a four- year starter and All-Northeast Conference player during her years at UMBC and was named UMBC’s Outstanding Female Athlete in 2002-03.  In February of 2008, Boone was inducted into the UMBC Retrievers’ Hall of Fame.
