Diplomats Toppled by George Washington in Regular Season Finale

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 17 women's squash team dropped a 9-0 match to No. 13 George Washington on the road Saturday. 

The loss brought an end to the Diplomats' regular season with a 5-12 overall mark while the Colonials improved to 6-7. 

By the Numbers 

Four of the nine matches were decided in four games, including each of the No. 1-3 spots on the ladder. Sherilyn Yang staved off elimination with an 11-8 win in the third but was undone by an 11-5 mark in the fourth.

The overall series advantage still favors the Diplomats at 12-8 but George Washington has won each of the last six contests.
