F&M Upended by Columbia

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 19 women's squash team fell to No. 7 Columbia by a 9-0 score on Sunday afternoon at the SL Green Streetsquash courts in New York, N.Y.

The Diplomats fell to 0-5 with the defeat while the Lions remained unbeaten in 2017-18 with a 3-0 record. 

By the Numbers 

Eight of the nine contests resulted in three-game sweeps for Columbia. Ellen Verry battled for F&M at the No. 2 position in the ladder, securing a 12-10 win in her second game to tie her opponent at 1-1. However, the Lion's Maddie O'Connor recorded wins in each of the last two frames to take the 3-1 decision.
