Dartmouth Too Much for No.18 F&M

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 18 ranked women's squash team fell short to No. 10 Dartmouth by an 8-1 score on Sunday afternoon at the Mayser Center. 

The result brought an end to the Diplomats' opening-semester schedule and dropped their record to 0-7 on the year while the Big Green improved to 2-0. 

By the Numbers

All nine matchups on Sunday were decided in three games. F&M's lone win occurred at the No. 1 position in the order with a dominant 11-7, 11-9, 11-6 sweep by senior Sherilyn Yang. Ellen Verry battled at No. 2. Down 2-0, Verry displayed resiliency in the third frame but was upended by a narrow 13-11 score.
