CARLISLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall women's swimming dropped a close 114-91 decision to Dickinson on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) action. The Diplomats fell to 3-6, 3-3 CC with the loss.
-Erin Fago tallied a pair of individual victories on the day, starting in the 50-yard freestyle as she clocked a time of 25.68. She topped all participants again in the 100-yard freestyle, sweeping the sprint events with a mark of 55.99.
-Melissa Mullin also notched two wins on the day. In the 200-yard IM she touched the wall in 2:17.66, just ahead of teammate Anna Hess in third at 2:18.98. In the 200-yard breaststroke, she again took first with a time of 2:31.53, followed by Michelle Wall in second with a mark of 2:35.51.
Other Notable Finishes
-Hess added a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, clocking a time of 2:14.05.
-Katherine Hirsch also earned silver on the day, touching the wall in 2:04.25 to take second in the 200-yard freestyle.
-Caroline Fry managed two third-place finishes, in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:04.00) and 500-yard freestyle (5:31.35).
-Grace Pereles tallied a bronze finish in the 200-yard butterfly, taking third in 2:18.05.
The Diplomats return home on Saturday, hosting Gettysburg at 1:00 p.m.
