Delia enters his first year at the helm of the Franklin & Marshall men's and women's swimming programs after spending the last four years as the head women's swimming coach at Randolph-Macon.

Delia guided Randolph-Macon to an 11-3 overall in 2008-09, including a 6-1 mark in the ODAC. Under the direction of Delia, 113 swimmers set lifetime best swims. The Yellow Jackets' 11 dual meet wins set a single season record, while eight Jackets were named to the All-ODAC team.

In his first season in 2007-08, Delia helped Randolph-Macon to an 8-3 dual meet record, including a 6-1 mark against ODAC foes. The Yellow Jackets capped off the season with a second-place showing at the ODAC and Atlantic States Championships.

Delia moved on to Randolph-Macon after a stint as assistant coach at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. and a successful four-year career at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. During his time at Trinity, Delia assisted in all phases of the Bantams swimming and diving program, including on-deck coaching, recruiting, team travel, fundraising and other administrative duties. Delia helped Trinity to six dual meet wins in 2006-07 and guided swimmers to a host of school and freshmen records while assisting four swimmers to USA Sectional qualifying times.

As a student-athlete, Delia was a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) all-league team and was a championship finalist on several occasions.

Delia is a native of Oswego, New York and graduated from Hamilton in May of 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a concentration in economics. Delia also earned his Master's Degree in economics from Trinity College in 2007.

Kevin Maloy enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Diplomats.  Prior to coming to F&M, Maloy spent last season working with current F&M head coach Ben Delia at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. 

At R-MC, Maloy helped begin a new men’s program that was being added this past fall.  He also helped guide the women’s program to one of it’s best showings at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) conference meet where the Yellow Jackets won 9 of 18 events and swept all post meet awards. 

Prior to coming to Randolph-Macon, Maloy spent the 2009-2010 season with the University of Mary Washington and helped them to capture nine All-American performances at NCAA DIII Nationals as well as their 20th and 10th consecutive women’s and men’s conference championships, respectively. 

In addition to Maloy’s collegiate experience, he has also been a mainstay at the club level for the past seven years with Tsunami Swimming and the Burkwood Aquatic Club in Virginia.  Maloy also spent four years as the assistant and eventually head coach at Chancellor High School in Fredericksburg, VA. 

Maloy was also a member of the Virginia Swimming Board of Directors where he served as the Club Development Chair for four years, Coaches Representative for a term and sat on the officials committee. 

Maloy graduated from American Public University with both his B.S. in Coaching Studies (2010) and M.S. in Athletic Administration (2011).
