Salisbury Too Much for F&M in Home Opener

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team fell short to Salisbury by an 8-1 score on Friday evening at the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center.

The non-conference defeat was the home opener for the Diplomats and dropped their overall record to 0-3. The Sea Gulls improved to 5-1. 

By the Numbers 

F&M's lone win occurred in doubles competition when the No. 3 duo of Emma Wu and Marissa Witmer combined for an impressive 8-4 victory.

Singles action saw Salisbury capture five contests in straight sets, while Allison Wolters battled for the Diplomats at No. 1 but was upended in three frames.
