Regan, Crawley Set School Records
LEWISBURG, Pa. - Caitlin Regan and Sheena Crawley set two school records at the Bucknell Winter Classic on Saturday afternoon. The meet featured teams from multiple divisions and was a non-team scoring event.
Regan nabbed the school record set by Megan Hunter '10 (1:19.85) in the 500-meter with a 1:18.34. Crawley's 2:11.48 was also a new school record as well as a new conference record in the 800-meter. She crushed the previous record set by Hunter '10 (2:16.65) by five seconds and the conference record that stood for seven years set by Joanna Simonis from Bryn Mawr (2:12.90).
The relay team of Henely Siegrist, Ariel Lefkovits, Regan, and Crawley placed fourth in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:05.29. Henely also took second place in the 400-meter at 59.67.
Members of the track & field team competed at the Albright Classic as well. Results were not made available by the host institution and will be posted as soon as they become available.
F&M returns to action next Saturday when the Diplomats travel to Princeton for a 10 a.m. start time.
