Series History: Franklin & Marshall looks to remain unbeaten in the Centennial Conference (CC) this week as the Diplomats host a pair of CC tilts beginning with a Wednesday showdown against Swarthmore. On Saturday, F&M hosts a tri-match at the Mayser Center, taking on Washington at noon before a non-conference match with Albright at 4:00 p.m. 

Against Swarthmore, the Diplomats hold a remarkable 25-game winning streak that dates back all the way to 1989. Overall, F&M leads the all-time series at 37-4, with the last victory coming on Sept. 26th of last season when the Diplomats downed the Garnet 3-1 in Lancaster. 

F&M also dominates the all-time series against Washington, holding a 35-7 edge and a 24-match winning streak that dates back to 1989. Last time out, the Diplomats earned a 3-0 sweep on Oct. 20, 2012.  F&M has not faced off against Albright since 1999 when the Diplomats captured a 3-0 victory. Overall, F&M leads at 15-6, including wins in the last seven matches. 

Last Week: The Diplomats wrapped up a busy week with a 3-2 mark, highlighted by a 3-0 sweep of McDaniel on Tuesday. F&M traveled to the Knights Fall Classic hosted by Neumann and finished up the non-conference tournament with a 2-2 mark that included sweeps of Rowan and Catholic. 

Julie Harvey and Ellie Ezekiel led the way at the classic, with each being named to the All-Classic team for their efforts over a four-match stretch. Harvey averaged 3.92 kills to go along with a .418 hitting percentage after collecting 51 kills and only committing 10 errors in 13 sets. Ezekiel earned the nod by averaging 3.1 kills and 2.4 digs per set to go along with four blocks.

CC Top Five: Caroline Hubbard continues to lead the CC in assists per set with a 10.02 average, nearly an assist per set ahead of Swarthmore's Sam DuBois, who sits in second with a 9.04 average. Harvey remains fifth in hitting percentage at .324 and is tied for second in total blocks (68) while Alyssa Sanchez is third in service aces at 0.54.

Doubling Down: Three Diplomats have recorded double-doubles on the season with Ezekiel leading the way with six. All of the freshman outside hitter's double-doubles has come by way of kills and digs. Emily Gerard notched the first of her career on Saturday against Catholic with a 10-kill, 14-dig performance. Hubbard has two on the season with her most recent one being against Richard Stockton on Saturday in* a 33-assist, 12-dig showing.
