Series History: F&M enters play against Johns Hopkins on Saturday in the Centennial Conference (CC) Semifinals with a 24-14 advantage in the all-time series. These conference rivals last squared off on Oct. 2nd in Lancaster when the Diplomats came away with a 3-1 victory.
Last Week: The 2013 regular season came to a close last week with F&M defeating Muhlenberg 3-1 on Wednesday to clinch the top seed and home-court advantage in the playoffs, followed by a 1-1 record at a trimatch hosted by York on Saturday. The Diplomats opened the trimatch with a 3-1 loss to Salisbury before defeating the Spartans 3-1 later in the day.
Against the Mules, Julie Harvey led the way with 18 kills and a .412 hitting percentage. Emily Gerard (15) and Katie Foreman (10) also reached double-digit kills for a Diplomats' offense that combined to hit .230 over four sets.
CC Tournament History: The Diplomats enter the tournament seeking their first CC Crown since 2010 when F&M defeated Swarthmore 3-0. At last year's tournament, the Diplomats advanced to the CC Championship game but fell to Hopkins 3-0. The last time F&M took down the Blue Jays in the tournament was back in the 2010 CC Semifinals with a 3-2 thriller at Haverford.

CC Top Five: Hubbard continues to lead the CC in assists per set with a 10.01 average, over an assist per set ahead of Swarthmore's Sam DuBois, who sits in second with a 8.92 average. Harvey continues to be one of the most effective hitters in the conference, ranking second with a .354 kill percentage. Defensively, the junior middle hitter is first in total blocks (102) and blocks per set average (1.10).
Doubling Down: Three Diplomats have recorded double-doubles on the season with Ezekiel leading the way with eight. All of the freshman outside hitter's double-doubles has come by way of kills and digs. Emily Gerard notched the first of her career on Oct. 12th against Catholic with a 10-kill, 14-dig performance. Hubbard has two on the season with her most recent one being against Richard Stockton on Oct. 12th in a 33-assist, 12-dig showing.
How They Compare: Nationally, F&M is ranked in the top 50 in multiple statistical categories. The Diplomats are 31st in kills per set (12.93), 36th in assists per set (11.77) and 42nd in blocks per set (1.98). Individually, Harvey's 1.1 blocks per set average ranks her 20th, while Hubbard's 10.01 assists per set place her 27th.
