Series History: F&M travels to Haverford on Wednesday where it will continue its Centennial Conference (CC) slate. The Diplomats have owned the all-time record against the Fords, posting a 23-9 mark, including a 3-0 shutout on Oct. 5, 2013.
On Sunday, F&M welcomes Bryn Mawr to the Mayser Center as the Diplomats look to continue to dominate the Owls. F&M holds a 23-1 record over Bryn Mawr, including 23 straight victories.
Last Week: The Diplomats fell to Swarthmore last Wednesday before hosting a trimatch on Saturday, where F&M downed Ursinus and Muskingum to finish out the week strong.
Against the Bears, the Diplomats dropped the first set but won the next three to take the match 3-1. Julie Harvey paced the offense, finishing with 12 kills, two solo blocks and an impressive .524 hitting percentage, while Kelsey Michenko added 11 kills and two blocks. Caroline Hubbard tallied 42 helpers, while Alyssa Sanchez notched 18 digs.
In the nightcap versus Muskingum, F&M once again dropped one set en route to the 3-1 victory. Rachel Umberger led the offense with 13 kills, while Harvey notched 10 and Michenko tallied nine. Hubbard added 43 assists and 14 digs for a double-double, while Sanchez supplied 14 digs.
Among the CC Leaders: Hubbard moved into third place in the CC in assists per set at 8.79. Washington's Taylor Horan sits in first with 9.42, while Dickinson's Jenn Morrissey is second at 8.91. Hubbard ranks fourth in the conference in service aces per set at 0.53, and Muhlenberg Nikki Dickson leads the pack at 0.70.
Harvey Gaining Ground: The senior middle hitter continues to chase several all-time F&M records. With 34 kills last week, Harvey is just 11 away from passing Kristen Kowalski's (1999-00, 02) 990 for seventh all time.
Harvey has amassed 73 solo blocks, good for seventh on F&M's all-time list. With 255 total blocks, Harvey ranks third all-time. Stacy Dunchick (1996-99) is in first with 369, while Nicole Morano (2007-10) sits in second with 297.
