LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall will travel to Wittenberg University (Ohio) to take on Hope (Mich.) in the first round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 3:00 p.m.
The NCAA Tournament berth is the first for the Diplomats since 2010 and sixth overall for F&M, who edged Muhlenberg 3-2 in Sunday's Centennial Conference (CC) Championship match to capture its sixth CC Crown.

Thursday's clash between the Diplomats (21-11) and Hope (28-2) is one of 16 first-round matchups to be played in the tournament. Thursday's winner will face either Juniata (27-7) or Franciscan (13-16) in the regional semifinals on Friday.
The Flying Dutch, a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA), received an at-large bid after losing to Calvin, the No. 1 team in the country, in the MIAA Finals.
This is Hope's 12th NCAA Tournament appearance and seventh in a row. The Flying Dutch reached the national quarterfinals a season ago. Thursday will be the first-ever meeting between the teams.
