Series History: Franklin & Marshall opens week three on Wednesday, traveling to Selinsgrove for a 7:00 p.m. match at Susquehanna. The Diplomats have historically dominated the River Hawks, owning a 21-10 edge in the all-time series, but Susquehanna has won the last two meetings between the schools.
The F&M Scramble starts on Friday at 6:00 p.m. when the Diplomats face off with No. 13 Eastern for the first time since 2012. The Eagles lead the Diplomats 10-5 in the previous 15 meetings, including victories in the last eight matchups.
The first day of the Scramble concludes on Friday at 8:00 p.m. when F&M takes on Salisbury. The Diplomats hold a slim 9-8 advantage over the Sea Gulls.
F&M begins day two at noon on Saturday with a match against Ithaca. The Bombers own a 4-1 edge all time, but have not won since 1999 as the Diplomats took the only contest of the 21st century in 2011.
The scramble finishes up at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday when F&M takes on its second ranked opponent of the weekend, No. 14 Carnegie Mellon. The Tartans own a 6-2 lead in the all-time series, including victories in the last six.

F&M Scramble: The F&M Scramble will feature seven different teams playing a total of 14 matches over two days in the Mayser Center. Ohio Northern, Ithaca, Stevenson, and Salisbury join a pair of ranked teams, No. 14 Carnegie Mellon and No. 13 Eastern, in the contingent of six teams visiting Lancaster.

Quick Starters: F&M's 7-0 start marks the fifth consecutive season that the Diplomats have won at least four straight matches to open the schedule. The last time F&M strung together seven straight wins to begin the year was in 2013, when the Diplomats won nine straight before suffering their first loss.
In the Rankings: After two weeks of play, F&M freshman Christine Yoo still owns the top hitting percentage in the Centennial Conference (CC) at .398. She also ranks second in the CC with .77 service aces per set.
Setter Allison Edelstein's 9.91 assists per set average ranks first in the Centennial. With her help, the Diplomats currently own the top hitting percentage (.208), kills per set average (12.55), assists per set average (12.55), and points per set average (16.9) in the conference.

Milestone Watch: Wednesday's victory over Scranton gave head coach Mary Kate Boland her 252nd career win, making her the winningest coach in F&M program history. Now in her 14th season leading the Diplomats, she passed current assistant Steve Coulson, who previously held the record with 251.
Coach Boland now ranks fourth in conference history for wins by a coach, a record held by ex-Gettysburg boss Doreen Drexel-Powell (428), and is tops among active coaches. She also second all-time with 104 wins in CC action, a record held by ex-McDaniel coach Carole Molloy with 110.
With her 12th kill in Friday's match against Lebanon Valley College, Ellie Ezekiel reached the 1,000-kill mark for her career. A three-time All-CC First Team Selection, Ezekiel now has 1,018 career kills and at 885 career digs, is closing in on the 1,000-1,000 club.
