BETHLENHEM, Pa. - Amy Jordan earned NCAA All-Regional honors finishing 28th at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regionals held at Leigh on Saturday. Jordan finished the 6k course in 23:00, placing 28th out of 311 runners. She was 1:21 behind champion Jenn Cronin from Lebanon Valley.
Jordan will have to wait until tomorrow to see if she earned a bid to the NCAA championships.
The Diplomats finished, 16th out of 44, with 447 points. Johns Hopkins won the championship with 109 points.
Emily Wilson finished about a minute behind Jordan, crossing the line at 24:01, placing 70th. Kelly Farelly, Alexis Teevins and Jenna Bush finished 30 seconds apart. Farelly ran a 24:21 (96th) while Teevins turned in a 24:44 (118th). Bush placed 135th, finishing at 24:57. Megan Hunter and Kara Doolan rounded out the Diplomats' finishers. Hunter ran 25:04 (142nd) and Doolan crossed at 25:09 (145th).
The meet wraps up the 2009 campaign for the cross country team.
