Diplomats Eighth at CC Championships

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Grace Adams finished in 36th place to lead Franklin & Marshall at the 2016 Centennial Conference (CC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at Haverford College. The Diplomats finished with a total of 243 points to take eighth place, while the team title went to Johns Hopkins with 21. 

Adams clocked a time of 23:55.3 on the 6,000-meter course to record the top finish for F&M. Emma Lane was next up for the Diplomats, crossing the line in 45th at 24:29.0. Hopkins' Felicia Koerner took the top spot at 20:56.4

Kathleen McCutcheon was next to finish for F&M, leading a tight group of Diplomat runners in 52nd place with a mark of 25:26.3. Abby Grehlinger was right behind her, taking 53rd at 25:28.4, while Amelia Cadwell rounded out the top five by clocking a time of 25:47.3.

Nancy Le took 58th in 25:52.4 for F&M, and Lily Magliente took 59th in 25:54.6 to wrap up Diplomat competition on the day.

F&M returns to action on Nov. 12, heading to DeSales for the NCAA Mid-East Regionals.
