Franklin & Marshall baseball continues Centennial Conference (CC) action on Tuesday by facing a Washington team that the Diplomats met twice on the road last year and came away with two victories. The offense produced 23 runs in the second contest, five of which were driven in by Max Schwartz. The Diplomats hold a 20-game advantage in the 62-game series.
Swarthmore also finds itself on the losing end of the series against F&M which has now exceeded 100 all-time games. Swarthmore defeated F&M in the CC Tournament last season to top off a tightly-contested 2-1 series victory over the Diplomats in 2018.

Blugis Breaks Caught Stealing Record
After tossing out a pair of runners against Shenandoah on March 28th, catcher Danny Blugis set the program's all-time runners caught stealing mark and currently has 30 in his career. Pat Andrews '14 held the previous mark with 29.
Marano Breaks Career RBIs Mark
With a sixth-inning single against Messiah at home on April 3rd, senior first baseman Dan Marano broke the program's career RBIs record with 109. Jason Anderson '10 previously held the top spot with 108.
Milestones to Watch
Marano has notched 173 hits in his career, a mark that places second all-time in program history. David Iacobucci '17 leads the way with 181.
With 33 career doubles, Marano places sixth. Scott Haft '05 tops the category with 45. His eight home runs are good for seventh among career leaders with Haft pacing the field with 14.
Danny Blugis has registered nine career saves, which places third all-time. Andrew Mascis '18 leads the way with 16.
Fellow starters Jack Buckley and Jonathan Cole have worked their way into the all-time strikeouts list with 126 and 124 in their careers, respectively - which place the duo 12th and 13th among program leaders. Todd Marshall has held the top mark of 220 since graduating in 1992.
Horning Nears Program Wins Record
Sixth-year head coach Ryan Horning enters the week just two wins shy of becoming the program's all-time winningest coach. Brett Boretti, who was at the helm of F&M baseball from 2001-05, leads the way with a 116-82 record during his tenure.
With wins of 3-2 and 10-4 in a doubleheader sweep of Hampden-Sydney on Feb. 24, Horning reached the 100-win plateau for his career.
