Winter Schedules Announced


LANCASTER, Pa. – Schedules for all nine of Franklin & Marshall's winter athletic programs have been announced and are available for viewing on Click the above links to view each team's 2013-14 slate of contests.

Men's and Women's Swimming

Saturday, Oct. 26 marks the opening of the winter season as men's and women's swimming will host Johns Hopkins at 11:00 a.m. On Saturday, Nov. 2, women's swimming hosts Bryn Mawr in its Centennial Conference (CC) opener at 12:00 p.m. The men open CC competition on Saturday, Nov. 9 at home against Swarthmore at 2:00 p.m.

Men's and women's swimming are set to host the annual F&M Invitational from Nov. 22-24, and will also host the CC Championships for the second straight year from Feb. 21-23 at the Kunkel Aquatic Center. 

Men's and Women's Squash

Women's squash kicks off its year on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Haverford, while the men's and women's team will both travel to Drexel on Friday, Nov. 22, which will serve as the season opener for the men's side. On Saturday, Nov. 23, both squads will host their home openers against Princeton.

The men's CSA Team Championships are scheduled for Feb. 14-16 at Harvard, with the women's slated for Feb. 21-23 at Princeton. CSA Individual Championships for both the men and women will take place from Feb. 28-March 2.

Men's and Women's Track & Field

The men's and women's track & field teams begin their indoor campaigns on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Villanova Invitational. The Diplomats have seven indoor regular season events on the 2013-14 slate, including the second annual Coach I Invite at the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center. CC Championships are scheduled for March 1-2 at Haverford.


The Diplomats wrestling squad begins its season on Saturday, Nov. 2 at home against Army. The following weekend F&M will travel to Ursinus for the Fall Brawl for its first tournament action of the year, before making the trek to VMI for its first road dual on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Wrestling will host the second annual F&M Open on Saturday, Jan. 4, with the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championships scheduled for March 8-9 in Philadelphia.  

Men's Basketball

Both men's and women's basketball tip off the 2013-14 season during the third weekend of November. The men's squad will host Baruch in the opening round of the Rotary Tip-Off Tournament on Friday, Nov. 15 at 8:00 p.m., with the consolation and championship set for the following day.

The Diplomats open up Centennial Conference (CC) play on Saturday, Nov. 23 at McDaniel, before returning home on Tuesday, Nov. 26 for its CC home opener against Johns Hopkins. The men's squad will also host the Sponaugle New Years Tournament from Jan. 2-3. 

Women's Basketball

The women's basketball team begins its season on Saturday, Nov. 16 with a matchup opposite Penn St.-Berks in the opening game of the Terry Greene Tip-Off Classic at 6:00 p.m. The consolation and championship rounds are slated for 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., respectively, on Sunday the 17th.

F&M kicks off CC play on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at McDaniel, and also hosts Johns Hopkins on Tuesday the 26th as game one of the CC doubleheader.

Basketball conference championships begin in late February, with the championship game set for Saturday, March 1.
