LANCASTER, Pa. – Cody Hubbs was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team, announced Thursday. The CoSIDA Academic All-America Program requires that nominees are at least a sophomore with a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average and are starters or significant reserves on their team.

The honor marks the second consecutive year a member of the Diplomats' football program earned All-District recognition.
All Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballots, where first-, second- and third-team All-America selections take place. The Academic All-America teams will be selected by a vote of the Academic All-America Committee, and CoSIDA Board of Directors, with the football AAA teams, announced Nov. 28-Dec. 1.
Hubbs, a senior government major, has put together one of the top years among Centennial Conference (CC) punters. His 38.8 punting-yard average is third in the CC, along with his long of 65 yards. Hubbs has placed 15 punts inside the 20, while also chipping in as a placekicker by going 1-for-1 in fields goals and 6-for-6 in extra points.
The Diplomats (6-2, 5-2 CC) welcome No. 7 Johns Hopkins (8-0, 7-0 CC) to town on Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. start.
