Franklin & Marshall Finishes 176th in Division III Home Football Attendance

LANCASTER, PA -- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced that Franklin & Marshall College finished the year ranked 176th in Division III home football attendance.

F&M, which drew an average of 964 fans to its seven home dates, claimed the 2004 Centennial Conference co-championship and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Southwest title as the Diplomats finished with an 8-3 record, 4-2 in Centennial Conference play.

In the Conference rankings, the Centennial Conference finished 30th of 43 Division II and III athletic conferences with an average attendance of 1,691 fans per game. As a group the "Centennial Seven" of Dickinson, Gettysburg, F&M, Johns Hopkins, McDaniel, Muhlenberg and Ursinus outdrew the Empire 8 (31st, 1,668), University Athletic (37th, 1,312) and Southern California (40th, 1,070) conferences.
