MOOSIC, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's golf team nabbed four of the top five individual scores at the Gino Biondi Tournament, hosted by Marywood, to help the Diplomats earn a first-place finish. As a team, F&M shot a 17-over 585 (296-289), 37 strokes ahead of Marywood and Scranton in a tie for second place at 54-over 622.
Troy Kelleher took the top individual finish for F&M, shooting an even-par 142 (71-71) across the two-day competition. Marywood's Jimmy Tressler came in second overall at two-over 144 (73-71).
R.J. Pozzuto ended in third place at three-over 145 (76-69). His two-under 69 on day two was the lowest individual round of the tournament.
Jas Fuhrer was 11th overall with 157 strokes (76-81) at 15-over to cap a successful weekend for the Diplomats.
The Gino Biondi Tournament marks the end of the fall campaign for F&M's men's golf program.
