CAMDEN, N.J. -- P.J. Succoso scored two goals and Charlie Welch picked up two assists to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 4-1 victory over New Jersey City Sunday afternoon. Both players were named to the All-Tournament Team at 2010 Cialella Soccer Classic.

The Gothic Knights (2-3) notched the game's first goal when senior midfielder Carlos Moron  scored on a 20-yard direct kick 1:33 into the second half, but the Diplomats bounced back with a vengeance.

Succoso's goals came only 1:03 apart to put F&M (2-2) ahead for good. He scored off a loose ball in the box when NJCU keeper Zakary Azmi was off the line and Charlie Welch was able to knock the ball over to Succoso for the score. That goal came 5:10 into the second half. Succoso added another tally moments later off a feed from freshman forward Ben Beaver.

Franklin & Marshall made it a 3-1 game at 67:01 when junior midfielder Eric Elicker scored off a perfect through ball up the field from Welch. Beaver tacked on the final goal with 2:01 remaining off a loose ball in the box.

NJCU held a 25-19 advantage in shots, aided by a strong start in the first half. The Gothic Knights also held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Azmi made nine saves for NJCU, while senior goalie Zack Zamek had four saves for the Diplomats.

The Diplomats host Lycoming on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
