Diplomats Fall to Red Devils

CARLISLE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall fell to Dickinson 3-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's soccer action to wrap up its regular season on Saturday. The Diplomats (12-5, 5-4 CC) will be either the No. 4 or No. 5 seed in next week's CC playoffs depending on the outcome of tonight's remaining conference games, while the Red Devils (12-3-2, 7-1-1 CC) locked up the No. 2 seed with the victory.

Dickinson registered one first-half score and added on two more tallies following halftime to post the 3-0 victory, snapping F&M's three-game winning streak.

Shepherd Waldenberger finished a Javier Mena feed in the 31st minute for the host Red Devils, while Mena and Nicolas Tierno notched second-half goals off assists from Derek Kachadurian in the 57th and 85th minutes, respectively.

Goalkeeper T.J. White managed three saves in the loss, while Dickinson's Cody Hickok tallied four stops to earn the win.

F&M returns to action on Wednesday for first round of the CC playoffs as either the No. 4 or No. 5 seed. Check back to GoDiplomats.com for updates once the official matchup is set.
