Bomba Named Academic All-District

Complete Academic All-District Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Jared Bomba was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team for men's soccer, announced Thursday. To be nominated for the CoSIDA Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade point average and be a starter or significant reserve.

As an all-district selection, Bomba advances to the Capital One Academic All‐America® Team ballot, where he has the opportunity to be honored as an Academic All-American later next month.

Bomba, a history major, was named to the Centennial Conference (CC) Academic Honor Roll last fall. The senior forward is third on the team in goals with five, while placing second in points at 15. Twice this season, Bomba was named the CC Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer. His four game-winning goals on the season give him eight for his career, a mark that places third in program history.

Franklin & Marshall clinched the top seed and home field advantage in the upcoming CC Tournament. The Diplomats close out the regular season on Saturday, facing off against Dickinson on the road for a 4:30 p.m. contest.
