Qualifying for tonight's finals ensures the sophomore's second individual All-American recognition from the weekend.
Roger Gu (Tufts) finished with the top time, touching the wall at 43.87.
The 400-yard Freestyle Relay team of Schiavone, Brendan Cline, Timothy Gould and Alec Wahl narrowly missed out on advancing, finishing 18th with a 3:03.80 mark. Emory's squad finished on top with a time of 2:58.72.
