Franklin & Marshall men's track and field concluded its 2019 season by finishing ninth at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships from May 3-5 and competing at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships from May 15-16.
Tanner Erisman '19 led the Diplomats at the CC Champs, landing on the podium for the third-straight year with a second-place finish in the Javelin, throwing for a distance of 53.55m. Erisman finished in the top-three in six-of-eight events during the season, including a season-best at the Blue Jay Tune-Up on April 27, where his throw of 55.11m was good for first.
Thrower Brandon Davis '19 ended his career with a personal best in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 38.92m, which was good for seventh at the ECAC Championships on May 16.
Senior Spencer Lyman '19 led the mid-distance runners, recording a personal-best finish in the 800m Run during the preliminaries of the CC Champs, crossing the finish line at the 1:56.91 mark.
The Diplomats recorded their best finish at the Blue Jay Tune-Up, taking eighth out of 15 teams. Aaron DiGregorio '21 notched a third-place finish in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 18.67 while Ben Walsh took fifth in the 400m Dash, running for a time of 56.32.
