LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall wrestling coach Mike Rogers announced the program's incoming class of 2023. The seven-member group is made up entirely of Pennsylvania representatives. Also joining the Diplomats for next year is Vincenzo Pelusi, the younger brother of F&M's former three-time NCAA Qualifier Antonio Pelusi. Vincenzo spent the previous two years at Division I Drexel.
The incoming class of first years is set to join a projected group of 21 returners as the Diplomats lost six seniors to graduation.
"We expect this class to be one of the most decorated in F&M wrestling history," said Rogers. "These student-athletes bring with them four state medals, a national prep medal, a combined 12 trips to the Pennsylvania state tournament, and four national prep tournament appearances.
"Each has had tremendous success and gained valuable experience by competing in the toughest wrestling state in the country. This class shows that F&M can be an attractive program for some of the best PA wrestlers to stay in their home state."
