Diplomats Take Second; Bell Places Fourth


DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's men's cross country earned a second place finish out of 17 teams at Saturday's Delaware Valley College Invitational. They fell 65 points shy of Felician College.

The Diplomats had two runners in the top ten. Ryan Bell placed fourth out of 160 runners with a time of 27:48, just 45 seconds sky of Richard Stockton's Abad Akhtar time of 27:03. Greg Duckloe picked up tenth running 28:23.

Angelo Arce ran 29:04 which placed him 22nd. Reed Bratches and Josh Wesalo came in back-to-back 34th and 35th respectively.

Rounding out the squad were Francis Blancero (39th in 29:56) and Erik Olsen (44th in 30:05).

F&M returns to action when they travel to Gettysburg on September 15th for the Little 3 Classic.
