Diplomats Second at DeSales

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Greg Duckloe finished second out of 225 runners at the DeSales Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.  Franklin & Marshall (44) and host DeSales (35) battled it out for the top team spot, while Oswego State finished 85 points behind F&M in third. 

Duckloe had his highest finish of the season as he crossed the finish line in 26:34.86 while DeSales' Nate Noll (26:12.61) took the top spt.  

Two other Diplomats placed in the top 10.  Bryan Andrews (27:08.91) finished fourth, trailing Duckloe by just over thirty seconds.  James Hamilton (27:34.89) had his best race of his freshman season garnering his first top-10 placing.  

Andrew Foley (27:48.73) took 15th in the 8K race while teammates Luk Olenginski (27:58.13) and Josh Wesalo (28:00.76) finished 17th and 18th respectfully.  Seconds later Tim Merlino (28:04.61) crossed the line to secure second place for the Diplomats out of the 22 teams competing.  

F&M will be back in action on Saturday, October 27th at the Centennial Conference Championships.  The event will take place at Haverford College and begin at 11:00 a.m.
