LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's cross country team is set to open the 2014 campaign tomorrow at the Little Three Meet with Dickinson and Gettysburg. The Diplomats return all top-seven finishers from last season and will look to finish in the top half of the region again this year.

The 2014 Diplomats
F&M returns every key contributor from last season's team that finished 17th at the Mideast Regionals. A senior-laden team with a successful record, combined with a handful of underclassmen, have the Diplomats set to finish in the top half of the regional for the third straight season.

Bryan Andrews leads the group again this season. The senior is a two-time All-Region runner and just missed the NCAA cut a year ago. Seniors Greg Olenginski and Luk Olenginski along with junior James Hamilton and sophomores Michael Whalen, Brien Miceli, J.T. Paganelli made up the F&M seven at the regionals and will again look to hold down the top seven for the Diplomats.
Seniors Phil Johnson, Carlton Christie and Leo Generali will provide valuable leadership and will be called upon to contribute this season, as will sophomore Ignacio Fallas, Carson Morris and freshmen John Vallachi and James Galasso.
The Road Ahead
F&M kicks off the season on Wednesday when the Diplomats travel to Dickinson for the annual Little Three Meet, before heading to the Dickinson Long-Short Course Invitational the following week. Centennial Conference Championships are slated for Nov. 1 and the Mid-East Regionals are two weeks later on Nov. 15.
