2019 F&M Men’s Cross Country Season Preview

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's cross country team is set to begin the 2019 season at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a meet at Baker Campus, hosting Lebanon Valley.

Athletes to Watch

Losing four seniors to graduation last year, the Diplomats return four to the program from last season. F&M brings in a staggering seven first-year runners to the team

Stephen Finck '22 had a strong finish to his first season at F&M last year. He was the second Diplomat to cross the finish line at NCAA Regionals last season. He came in 195th out of 357 runners with a time of 29:41:00. Finck tallied his best run at the Cathcart Invitational, hosted by Salisbury on Sept. 29, finishing 54th out of 129 runners with a 28:40.34 run.

The Road Ahead  

The men's cross country team begins its season with Lebanon Valley at Baker campus. Then F&M hosts the annual Alumni 5K with Millersville at Baker Campus on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:00 p.m. The Little Three Meet takes place on Friday, Sept. 13 at 6:00 p.m. and will be hosted by F&M.

Haverford will host the men's Centennial Conference Championship, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11:00 a.m., while the NCAA Mid-East Regionals are set for Saturday, Nov. 16 at 11:00 a.m. and are being hosted by Lehigh.
