Series History

Franklin & Marshall begins Centennial Conference (CC) play on Saturday, hosting Dickinson for the 83rd meeting between the two programs. Though the Red Devils currently own a seven-game winning streak over the Diplomats, F&M holds the edge in the all-time series with an overall record of 43-38-1.

The Diplomats play their first road game of the season on Tuesday, facing Gettysburg in CC action. Despite falling in the last 12 games with the Bullets, F&M has been within 11 points in each of the last three contests.

F&M Last Week

The Diplomats opened the 2019-20 campaign with a 1-2 record in the first week of action. F&M took a commanding 64-42 victory over Marywood on Wednesday behind 18 points from Sarosha Parsons. The senior was 7-of-10 from the field in 31 minutes.

F&M fell by just three points to Wilkes, 53-50, in the first round of the Terry Greene Tip-Off Classic on Saturday. Kristin Hamill (19 points, 13 rebounds) and Kenna Williams (15 points, 17 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles.

On Sunday, the Diplomats suffered an 88-79 defeat to Elizabethtown in the consolation game of the Terry Greene Tip-Off Classic. Emily Moran poured in 4-of-7 from behind the arc en route to 24 total points.

Last Meeting with Dickinson

F&M was tied with Dickinson entering the fourth quarter, 41-41. Dickinson's Emily Padalino tallied seven points in the final stanza to lead the Red Devils to a 60-56 victory. Kristin Hamill, Emily Moran, Haley Pilone, and Lindsey Powers each tallied ten points.

Last Meeting with Gettysburg

The Diplomats were outscored 24-9 in the third quarter en route to a 77-66 defeat last season. Kenna Williams recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

Among the Leaders (CC)

Kenna Williams (14.0) and Kristin Hamill (11.0) are first and second in the CC, respectively, in rebounds per game.

Hamill is tied for the Conference lead in assists per game with 4.3 and her 17.7 points per game are fourth in the Conference.

Williams is fourth in the CC in field goal percentage at 57.1 percent.

Milestone Watch

Kristin Hamill enters the week with 944 career points, 56 away from becoming the 16th Diplomat to eclipse the 1,000-points mark for her career.  The senior center is also 14th on the career rebounds list with 580, 30 away from entering the top-10 in school history.

Interim head coach Beth Elbon enters the week with 97 career victories at the helm of the Diplomats, just three away from becoming the second coach in the history of the women's basketball program to eclipse 100 career wins.
