Mynott, Seery Named CC Players of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's Lily Mynott and Christina Seery were named the Centennial Conference (CC) Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for Field Hockey, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

It is the first time that either Mynott or Seery has received Player of the Week recognition in their careers. Three Diplomats have now been named CC Players of the Week this season.

Mynott (Millburn, N.J. / Millburn) led No. 9 F&M to another unbeaten week. The junior forward was extremely efficient, scoring four goals in just six shots on goal, including two game-winners. Mynott had a hat trick against York (Pa.) on Wednesday, her second consecutive three-score game, and added another goal in the 3-0 win over Muhlenberg on Saturday.

Seery (Westfield, N.J. / Westfield) did not allow a goal in either of No. 9 F&M's games this week, including a complete-game shutout over Muhlenberg in the CC opener.

The Diplomats face Dickinson on the road Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
