Series History

The No. 5 Diplomats begin their week hosting Gettysburg on Wednesday night. F&M has had Gettysburg's number in recent history. The Diplomats have outscored the Bullets 26-5 over the current eight-game winning streak against Gettysburg.

Over the weekend, F&M heads to Washington College for a Saturday afternoon game with the Shorewomen. The Diplomats took a 6-0 win over Washington last season. Erin Coverdale picked up two goals, Melissa Gula dished out two assists, and Lily Mynott and Kat Horsley each scored a goal in last year's contest.

Playoff Outlook

F&M enters the week tied with Johns Hopkins atop the Centennial Conference (CC) at 5-0. Bryn Mawr is one game back at 4-1 CC with Ursinus just a half game further at 4-2 CC.

Last Week

F&M took a thrilling 2-0 game over Catholic on Wednesday night at Spooky Nook sports complex in Manheim, Pa. The Diplomats were scoreless until the 47th minute of play as Lily Mynott scored two goals in the fourth quarter to win the game. Recap.

The Diplomats required more heroics from Mynott to defeat No. 11 Ursinus on Saturday. The Bears held a 1-0 lead until Mynott tied the game with just over five minutes left in regulation. In double-overtime, Mynott scored again to win the game, 2-1. Recap.

Mynott and Seery Sweep POTW Honors

Lily Mynott was named CC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring all four goals for the Diplomats last week, including two late game-winners. She notched the double-overtime tally to take down No. 11 Ursinus on Saturday, along with a 54th-minute game-tying goal to send the contest to overtime.

Christina Seery earned CC Defensive Player of the Week honors following a shutout on Wednesday and a nine-save performance against Ursinus on Saturday, including two key stops in overtime.

Among the Leaders (CC)

Lily Mynott leads the CC in scoring with 18 goals and 39 points, both first in the Conference.

Erin Coverdale is first in the CC with 91 total shot attempts, with Mynott in second with 65 entering this week.

The Diplomats have allowed the fewest goals in the Conference, surrendering just nine.

Among the Leaders (NCAA)

Through Oct. 11 Lily Mynott's 1.45 goals per game place her sixth in the NCAA.

Christina Seery is eighth in the NCAA with a goals-against-average of 0.660.


F&M was selected as the No. 5 team in all of Division III in the sixth NFHCA poll of the regular season after being ranked No. 8 last week. Record Book Watch

Erin Coverdale has 51 career goals and is fourth in program history. She is three away from becoming the record-holder. Coverdale has 20 career assists, tied for sixth in program history, and is two away from moving into a tie for fifth in program history.

Caitlin Morrissey has six penalty stroke conversions in her career, which is second in program history. The F&M record is 10 (Annie Horsley '18).

Lily Mynott has scored 35 career goals, tied for 12th in F&M history. Four more goals will put her into the top-10 in program history.

Coverdale Breaks Game-Winner Record

Erin Coverdale broke the F&M record for career game-winners when she notched her 15th and 16th career game-winners against Lebanon Valley (9/11) and Mary Washington (9/14), passing Sydney Cole '18.
