Gabrielle Nolt joined the Franklin & Marshall College field hockey staff prior to the start of the 2017 season. Nolt comes to the Diplomats' program after serving as an assistant coach the past two years at York College of Pennsylvania. Prior to York, she spent two seasons as an assistant field hockey coach at Hempfield High School.
Nolt brings extensive playing and coaching experience to the Diplomats' squad. Nolt was a four-year letter winner at La Salle University. She had a fantastic senior year as she was the team’s leading scorer, earned an Atlantic 10 Player of the Week Award, and finished the season ranked seventh overall in the A-10 Conference in scoring as a senior. Nolt also earned A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll accolades and was named the team’s Unsung Hero.
Nolt’s coaching career began at Hempfield High School in 2011 at the conclusion of her collegiate career. Nolt helped lead the Knights to the 2011 PIAA State Championship. Hempfield went 19-6-1 en route to the state championship. She has also coached Keystone State Games teams including a squad in the youth division that finished second at the 2012 games.
Nolt built her career around empowering others. She is the Regional Manager for Evolution Power Yoga, a vinyasa power yoga community made up of four studio locations: Lancaster (F&M’s College Row), York, Harrisburg, and Rock Lititz. Nolt is a Certified Yoga Instructor with hundreds of hours of training and leads next generations of yoga teachers through Evolution’s ACCESS Teacher Training programs.
Nolt graduated from La Salle University in 2011 with a B.A. degree in Communication Management.
