LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall juniors Caroline Krohn and Kelsey Hoffman were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America Third Team announced Thursday afternoon. Krohn was also named to the Synapse Sports All-America Second Team.
They are the 40th and 41st individual players in F&M's history earn All-America honors, bringing F&M's total to 61 total certificates.
Krohn (Baltimore, Md. / Towson) is receiving her first All-America honor after being named First Team All-Region and First Team All-Centennial this postseason. Krohn tallied a team-high 67 points with 39 goals and leads the team with 28 assists this season. She came away with 61 draws and added 10 ground balls through the year. The junior has scored in double figures 11 times with three or more goals in eight of those contests.
Hoffman (Arlington, Mass. / Buckingham Browne & Nichols) was also named First Team All-Region and First Team All-Centennial this year and is making her way to the All-America Team for the first time. She allowed just 8.37 goals per game this year with 141 saves and has a 49.6 save percentage. Hoffman was named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week three times this year.
F&M has a 15-4 mark and will continue its season on Saturday when the Diplomats play York in Salisbury at 2:30 p.m. in the second round of NCAA Tournament.
